Open your job on a tablet or a laptop, pick a tool and draw what you built. The form for each feature opens as you place it. Every map edit is saved on the device first and syncs when there is signal, so a dead zone does not stop the work.

What changes

  • Saved on the tablet first

    Every point, line, polygon and form edit is written to the tablet before it goes anywhere, and survives a reload. A chip in the header shows whether you are online and how many edits are waiting. If the server turns them down, they stay on the tablet marked Needs attention, with Retry and Discard.

  • Only your catalogue’s tools

    The palette holds the tools in your project’s catalogue and nothing else, so nobody invents a feature type on the day. Where the catalogue has toolsets, pick one, such as poles or drops, and the palette narrows to that work. Connection rules decide what a line may end on.

  • The form opens as you place

    Place a feature and its form opens with the fields the office put on that tool, with pick lists shown as buttons where the office has set them up that way. A required field left empty is listed in the Quality Inspector on your own map.

    Quality & automation

  • Photos marked up where you took them

    Add up to five photos to a feature from the tablet’s camera or gallery. Each is stamped with the feature’s coordinates and address. Draw on it with a pen, arrow, box, text or the project’s own tool icons, then save over it or as a new photo.

    Open My Day and pick the job. Its map opens with the job’s boundary on it.

    Technician

    Choose a tool and draw. On a touch screen the map pans under a fixed centre pointer, and a button places the point where it aims.

    Technician

    Fill in the form, add photos while there is signal, and mark them up.

  4. 04

    Crew lead

    Check the Quality Inspector and the pending-changes chip before leaving. Anything still waiting syncs the next time the project’s map is open with signal.
