Both cover HFC and fiber plant: poles, anchors, pedestals, handholes and vaults; strand, conduit and drops; coax and fiber cable; taps, splitters, amplifiers, nodes and splice enclosures; and the premises the drops reach.

What changes

  • Two starter catalogues

    Create a catalogue from either preset in Catalog Studio, then change it as you need. The first has 74 tools across electronics, construction and cables, with three toolsets. The second has 78 tools and eight toolsets, among them Fiber, Poles and Peds, Taps and Structures, so a crew’s palette can hold just its own work.

  • Pole and premises fields already placed

    In the first catalogue each of the ten pole types carries eighteen fields, from owner, tag and height to lowest power attachment, sag heights and mid-span crossing, with Birth Mark and Make Ready (Available, Limited or Full) required. In both, residential, commercial and government buildings and churches carry a BSL number, a subsidy or along-the-way flag, an address status of Serviceable, Complex Serviceable or Not Serviceable, and a disposition for the ones that are not.

  • Connection rules that know the plant

    The first catalogue ships 2,401 connection rules. A cable ends only on electronics. Strand, conduit and drops end only on construction points such as poles, pedestals, handholes, vaults and buildings, never on an anchor. An anchor attaches to a pole and to nothing else.

  • Deliverables for the build

    Export KMZ for Google Earth carrying each feature’s attributes and photos, a PDF map book with a detail sheet wherever the work is, or a CSV or XLSX report over the catalogue’s own fields. The export panel counts nodes and footage for the scope before you run it.
